My daughter takes Zonisamide. One of the side effects is, "abnormal skin sensations." My daughter has been experiencing sporatic numbness on different parts of her body. For example occasionally a small spot below her lip is numb or a part of one arm. It is always on her left side but it is not severe. She is 17. This sometimes occurs after she walks on the treadmill. Could this have anything to do with the report of abnormal skin sensations? I saw one comment that a patient's skin was itchy. What other abnormal skin sensations have been reported? We have an appointment with a doctor but I wanted to get as much input as possible.
