she can be very vocal, scream, kicks the floor, argues and cries... i thought depakote would help, and also she has a hard time falling asleep at night
My daugher is 10 and on concerta for add, in the morning she has very bad temper and does not sleep?

this is happening while on concerta only or all the time. also some of these habits are very normal for a kid (the sleeping part could be because concerta is a stimulent). If she is becoming more excitable while on this med she probably does not have ADD or ADHD. I have always been a fan of using meds that act on GABA instead of a stimulent for this disorder anyway so Depakote is a good idea as long as she seriously needs it and is just not being a "normal" child
