My child is 7 years old and has a choice of drugs take levetiracetam, topiramate or oxcarbazepine, we are not sure which one to give her.
Hello aqb. I would go the route of Oxcarbezepine. Its recommended for children over the age of two and is used in the treatment of Epilepsy. Topirmate is recommended in use for children over the age of 10 and there are no ages given to Levetiracetam ( benzodiazepine). I am not a doctor but would of course recommend a professionals opinion. But in answer to your question I would go the route of the Oxcarbezepine. Regards, pledge
