I have Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia, beginning in the Sinus node I guess, with Moderate regurj in my Mitrol valve and Tricuspid Valve, (post surgical "repair"). I am already on a beta blocker for my fast heart rate- and my cardio said that my tests looked good. Can anybody suggest a reason why I should take this med? I know there are off label reasons... but I'm totally lost on this one. My MD didn't have anything helpful to add today~

It concerns me because I was told it will reek havok with my bones and Osteoporosis is in my family along with the genetic connective tissue disorder. Intelligent thoughts, anyone?
I know, I can call and ask him- and I will- I'm just curious if anybody has input here.
Thanks*
