my doctor prescribed promethazine it says not to gve children under 2yrs of age.should my son take this as the docto says or not

As you know babies are very delicate.
If the label says what you say, and if it were my baby, I would seek for a second opinion, and also ask your pharmacist, but I would most certainly seek for a second opinion, we are talking about YOUR baby, not the doctor´s.-
