He has told me that he can handle it on his own and doesn't need help. I know that isn't true but I don't know how to handle things in the meantime. I know he used last night.
My 21 yr old son is using heroin. What should I do?
Added 20 Dec 2011:
I am not clueless about heroin but I AM clueless as to how much it costs. He is giving me his paycheck for his bills (is a VERY hard worker so far!) but then asks for it back in $20 increments.
THE $ he want is 4 drug this is a bad drug who know what in it a dealer will get say 1 oz he put something IN it to make more of who know what they don't care about nothing but $ u need get him help b4 it get out of hand it will . Because the more u use the more u need to get the high . HOPE thing get better 4 u GOD BLESS.
Is this something you know for sure or just suspect? You might just sit him down & ask him outright. If he admit to it & wants help then by all means try to help him. If he denys it & you know for certain, he is 21, & you can't make his decisions for him, but you can make it harder for him to live the life. If he isn't already, make him pay you rent or better yet make him move out on his own. I don't know the price of heroin, but I'll bet it's more than $20. That is why I ask do you know for certain. Has this been a previous problem etc??? There is not enough information in your question to proper advise you. Please add more to your question as to how you know & so on...
