Can mupirocin be used for diper rashes?

I wouldn't. Many diaper rashes are yeast and an antibiotic cream would make them worse. The best thing for a rash is to use something like desitin or the one that has calamine lotion in it. You want to cleanse the baby good with each diaper change and put a thin coating of the cream. If it doesn't go away, you may have to get some nystatin cream for the baby. I've mixed it with the desitin equal parts of each, and used that. It works good.
