... side the worse going around to my spine, it's much more irritation and pain there than my legs, has anyone else had this problem in the rib cage area ?
Hi and welcome. I feel for your pain and I know exactly what you are talking about. Our son has MS since 2005, aged 34 yrs. old. Most of his severe pain is in his thoracic spin and rib cage. he does have two lesions on his spine which contributes to his pain but the rib cage pain is called the MS hug. I am most sure that his what his neuro at Univ. of Penn hospital calls it. I know how he suffers with it and they are treating the pain with neurontin, baclofen and tynenol3. It doesn't help though. He is currently on tysabri and had 8 infusions which are helping. What meds are you on? Hope this info helps you.
