... All symptoms exist, diagnosed many (22 yrs) ago, intermitant MS muscle spasm, extreme pain in arms & legs, numbness, headachs, lightnig bolts w/chin touchs downward, exhaustion especially in warm weather, weird sensations, fingers & toes freeze in mornings for 1-2 hrs upon wakeing, doc's seem to be puzzeled, this person is not nuts or suffering from anxiety..normal, just has these sudden attacks, trys to hide from family but this time so severe family is aware & asking questions..Anyone else diagnosed with MS with clean ct scan & mri's that can offer any help???
If you were diagnosed with this many years ago, yet your doctor, apparently doesn't think this is what it is? Is your doctor a neurologists, because, that would be the doctor I would see, to run several blood tests possibly to rule out that there is not a different or another disease process going on. And, he, specifically deals with the nerve and/or associated problems involving the nerves, including all the symptoms you've mentioned. I don't know about the MRI or ct, but this disease to my knowledge is a neuro-musclar disease. Secondly, you could see an immunologists, who deals with auto-immune diseases, which could also cause a range of symptoms such as yours. I hope you are seeing a specialist and not just an MD., for all your symptoms, you should really be seeing someone who can truly try to rule everything out, as stated above, and maybe finally give you some answers and relief with your awful symptoms. There are treatments for many MS and other diseases, I would not settle for it being just anxiety, at least not until you've done all you can and remember, you can always get second and even third opinions from a different doctor. Hope this helps, I feel for you and sounds like you do need to address it. Please write back on the questions I asked if you can, just want to help. And, this is just my opinion, based on the lab work I do where I work and some medical knowledge of diseases.
