i HAVE A CONSTANT MUCOUS BUILDUP ON MY CONTACT LENS THAT IMPAIRS MY VISION ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. WHAT CAN i DO ABOUT THIS OTHER THAN TAKE MY LENS OUT AND CLEAN IT. THIS IS DIFFICULT TO DO WHEN I'M DRIVING.
See your eye Dr to check the fit of your lenses and like Pledge says, a change in cleaning solutions may help but if your lenses are not fitting right they can cause all kinds of problems. The mucus may be in response to the lenses rubbing the cornea. I get bad protein build up on mine and I have a special cleaning solution with hydrogen peroxide that works great! makes my lenses feel like new!
