Yes, it is a time released medication. It is designed to ease pain for a 24 hour period. However, there are always circumstances.. Depending on the severity of pain felt, how long you've been on the medication (days, weeks, months, etc.), taking as prescribed or abusing... But yes, if taken proper it should last roughly 19 to 24 hours.
