Having been diagnosed a few years ago , only recently advised of this and both legs painful 24/7 , both knees have a tendency to collapse under me at any given time . Pain has now reached upper thighs and only treatment is to take Amitriptyline . Can yopu advise if I can ask or do further to treat and do you have any information available on this problem . Many thanks , regards Mike Webster Scotland
There is no treatment specifically for it. Physical therapy and bracing can help. I'm looking to see if I can find if meds like gabapentin and lyrica help, I haven't found anything yet. You may want to see a pain dr for management of your pain. If you google it you will find info on it.
