Are you on any types of medication? Because if not then it just sounds like you tired of riding in the car and it pisses you off. Happens to me too. But I remember when I got put on abilify or whatever it's called, it's an antidepressant and every time I took it I couldn't sit still for long periods at a time.
I understand what you mean. Its like when you have been on a boat all day and when you get off you still feel like you are rocking with the boat! I get that feeling sometimes so that I feel like I'm still moving when I get out of the car after a long trip. I'm not sure if it is the same as motion sickness, which I get too. Motion sickness makes me feel really hot, sweaty and very nauseated from riding in the car or in a bus or plane and I feel every little motion and it makes me very sick! I think what you describe is just a residual feeling caused by stimulation of the middle ear where your motion sensors are that let you adjust to motion. Even though the motion is stopped your middle ear is still being stimulated. You might try some OTC meclizine to help. It is marketed as Dramamine 2 or WalMart carries Meclizine but you usually have to ask for it at the pharmacy counter-that is where I get mine. Mine is a 25mg chewable tab. It also comes in a 12.5mg.
Meclizine is the same thing as Antivert if you know what that is. It is used for motion sickness and also balance problems due to middle ear disturbances and used also for vertigo. It works quite well. I take it 30 minutes before a long car ride or before travelling on a plane/jet. It helps me a lot!
I found that BONINE is the only brand I can take without falling asleep!
Also, try natural ginger, it comes in a candy form and I'm sure others.
Good Luck to you!
