She is also suffering from back pain since 1 month.. MRI scan was normal and doctor confirmed as muscle pain.. He gave pain killers but the pain is not reduced.
Hi, if she has discontinued the sleeping tablets recently, then that could certainly be the reason. Regardless though, she really should visit her doctor for tests to determine the cause. It could be a number of reasons, which would be very difficult for any of us to diagnose, without knowing any further information.
Headaches can be from many things. Sleeping pills can cause them. She should see her dr to determine the cause.
Our friends are right. It would be difficult to diagnose these headaches. You know, I had migraines for 20 years and saw every doc that was recommended to me, and the whole gamma of testing, and even hospitalization. I took my children(now 42 and 38) to an ear, nose and throat Dr. and he said something I forgot until about a year ago. He said to put your finger on one side of your nose to block out air, then blow out the other side, then do it again on the other nostril. If they couldn't breathe completely out of one side or the other, they probably had asthma. They needed sinus medication. So, I decided I was going to try a sinus med myself. My doc prescribed Claritin D. It helped within a half hour. No headache. Claritin D is pseudophedrine and Loratadine. I take 120 mg of pseudophedrine and ten mg of Loratadine. This is way less than buying Claritin D. Wow! What an enlightening experience. I'm certainly not saying to do this.
It's just something that changed the life of my headaches. All this time and money I spent over the years could have been sinusitis. Just throwing it out there for you to think about. This can never replace your docs advise, but maybe you could talk to him/her about it. I pray you find an answer because headaches are painful and aggravating and debilitating.
