I researched all i could to find the Aspercreme was THINNNING her blood. I told her to stop the Aspercreme but she won't because of the pain so she's covering a smaller area. WHAT can she rub with since she believes in a RUB?
My mother was rubbing Aspercreme on her leg when I noticed her Coumadin levels were around 4.8 so?

There are many kinds of rubs, however she CANNOT use ANY that contain salicylates! She is just going to have to try others to see what will work but pay special attention to ingredients and use nothing that contains salicylates. The only other option is o talk to her physician about her pain. He may be able to give her a prescription for a cream with lidocaine or she can take pain medication by mouth.
