can i take seroquel inplace of morphine for the withdrawls
You can try. I've tried using it for that and yeah it will help about the same way as getting drunk, since I've been on Seroquel before for sleep of all things but the stuff in my opinion is horrible drug, the hangover from it is just awfull,NOT AS BAD AS A ALCOHOL HANOVER AND WITHDRAWL WHATSOEVER,but it would help. The only thing as I'm sure you know is more opiates. Whatever got you in that situation I'd try and talk to your doc & beg for suboxone, cuz I'm betting they won't go for methadone. Can't hurt to try & I guarantee it won't hurt as much as trying to go cold turkey off morph, cuz I had a doc do that to me because of an angry ex-friend making a call to my then doctor who was a ball breaker to start with( No compasion, care, or understanding) and that was before the call. This supposed doctor didn't take one minute to think of my blood pressure shooting through the roof, which it had done on days that I had to wake up,take an hour bus ride, see the beast, get scrip, wait, take next bys to pharmacy, and then wait to fill a schedule 2 narcotic. Now my doctor fills my scrip a day before I'm out. Sorry to ramble but that dude left me with nothing that did a damn thing for the pain of a C-1 to C-2 vertabrae fussion based on a phone call, & put my life in danger because not only was the operation a total failure, getting a doctor to take me serious was a big problem, when I did I had an infection in my spine, and had to have 4 more screws put in to fix his F up. Statue of limitations had passed and ge got off of it all. Try the serequel,it does pack a punch, but doesn't scratch that itch you need scratched, know what I mean?
