My menstrual cycle just finished a day before and I had sex with my husband and took a morning after pill the following day and had sex again on the same day. My hubby didnt ejaculate inside me. I need to take another morning after pill?
Fertility returns pretty fast after you take them. If you want to gamble that same day is safe. Its up to you. Why aren't you on regular birth control. Taking morning after pills wouldn't be satisfactory in marriage to me. They aren't as effective as regular birth control and you aren't supposed to take more then a few a year.
No, but emergency contraception (Or "morning after pills) should not be relied upon as birth control. They dont work well enough to be used as birth control. Regular routine birth control is much more effective than emergency contraceptives. If you dont want to become pregnant, you need to see your gynecologist for routine birth control and use condoms and spermicide in the meantime. Emergency contraception becomes less effective the more often that you use it especially if you use it more than once in a month.
