I've been on the pill for about 8 months now and the just had unprotected sex for the first time since being on it . He finished inside me . I'm not sure whether to get the morning after pill to be extra safe or not ? I know that the pill stops ovulation but sometimes I'm not always on time at taking the pill . I've been skipping my period every now and again but have been spotting for the last two weeks . Is there any chance I can still get pregnant ? Help :/
NOOOOOOOOOOOO... It doesn't provide extra safety. All it does is delay ovulation. When you are on the pill you don't ovulate. There is nothing for the map to do. You have the best protection there is. If you take it correctly you are protected almost 100%. Even if you took a couple pills late, your protection is still 95%. The protection of maps is only 80-95%. They aren't magic potions. You kids take them too freely. They are a huge dose of hormones and screw up your cycle for at least a month. Used correctly they are safe. Used like you kids take them, like they were candy, I'm concerned there will be problems later in life.
