... I pregnant?what are the risk? plzzzzzzzz help me I also have one pill remaining from the pack and had sex last night but he didn't ejaculate in me is it that I wait for my period or continue to take a next pack
Okay, once again I have to say this! I dont know WHY this MYTH still persists but withdrawing before ejaculation does absolutely NOTHING, NOTHING!! to prevent pregnancy! It is a wasted gesture! Men leak sperm out all through the sex act. Granted, the majority is released during ejaculation but it only takes one to make you pregnant. Men cannot feel this leakage, nor can they control it and even if they do not see anything when they masturbate, it occurs during intercourse. In your case however, you are on the Pill and as long as you take your pill correctly, you are about as protected as you can be against pregnancy. I am sure that you know that no birth control method is 100% except for abstinence (or not having sex). The Pill when used consistently and correctly is about 98-99.9% effective so you likely have less than a 1% chance for pregnancy if you take it every single day at roughly the same time of day! There is no need to use condoms and there is no need to "pull out" as pulling out is not going to protect you in any way, shape or form! When you are established on the Pill (and this usually takes about seven days of active pill according to the studies done by the manufacturer) there is no need for condoms except for STD protection. If you go to a clinic to obtain your pills, they talk a lot about continuing to use condoms but this is to protect you from getting STD's. If you are with one guy and you know he is disease free and each of you only has sex with each other then condoms are unnecessary and it is your choice to use them. If you are inconsistent with your pills, you are late taking them or miss pills a lot, condoms are good for "back up" protection. Withdrawal or pulling out is not because sperm is leaked out all through sex. SO, if you take your pills correctly there is very little risk-at most less than 1% to 2% only! So go ahead and let him finish! The Pill was made so women could enjoy their sex lives without worrying about getting pregnant!
