... question is do I continue to take my pills? If I am pregnant how soon can I find out and if I continue to take my pills prior to knowing will it put the baby at risk?
Keep taking your pills. Yes, you are at higher risk for pregnancy than you normally would be but chances are still good that you are not pregnant and this exposure will not hurt a baby if you are pregnant. Many women have gotten pregnant while on birth control for one reason or another and have gone on to have perfectly healthy normal babies. If your period is more than a week late, you can test. As soon as you find out there IS a pregnancy, you would want to stop taking the pills but until then, it is okay. It will keep you safe if you are NOT pregnant.
