Is monodox the same as accutane? Does it do the same thing?

They both fight acne but in a different way.

Monodox is used in the treatment of chlamydia infection; acne; bacterial infection; upper respiratory tract infection; lyme disease (and more), and belongs to the drug classes miscellaneous antimalarials, tetracyclines.

Accutane is used in the treatment of acne; rosacea; melanoma, metastatic; granuloma annulare; acute nonlymphocytic leukemia and belongs to the drug classes miscellaneous antineoplastics, miscellaneous uncategorized agents.
