The literature says the following:
"To be sure this medicine is not causing harmful effects, your blood will need to be tested often. Visit your doctor regularly."

Plavix does not require regular testing like Warfarin. When it is tested your doctor will typically order a CBC with differential and platelet count. If you are still having clotting problems then your doctor should order genetic testing to determine if you have a resistance to the Plavix.
