How do I know which Monistat to use for a yeast infection?

A lot of people, myself included, are sensitive to monistat 1 because its such a strong/high dose of the medicine. I had an awful allergic reaction to it, which was worse than the infection itself. That being said, the 3 or 7 day monistat is often safer, but does take longer. If possible for you to go to the doctor, get a diflucan prescription (oral anti fungal) which is just one pill that you take and symptoms clear up within a couple of days.
