trice1; You have me a bit confused what are or did you use the Monistat 1, or the tube of Monistat-7 if it is the Monistat 1 it is normal for it to clump up as it is dissolving and you should not be taking it out it well dissolve on its own. Are you using both kinds, I think you should either call your regular doctor or the Pharmacist at the pharmacy you go to. Here is some information on sex while being treated with any of the Monistat, This come's from this drug site drug.com If you have any question call one of the above as I said and here is the information on sex after the use of Monistat.((((
Do not use tampons while you are using Monistat-1 and until all of your symptoms go away. Use unscented pads or pantiliners.
Do not have vaginal sexual intercourse while you are using Monistat-1.
Monistat-1 may decrease the effectiveness of condoms and diaphragms, increasing the chance of pregnancy or risk of sexually transmitted disease. Do not use condoms or diaphragms for at least 3 days after treatment with Monistat-1.
Do not use tampons, douches, spermicides, or other vaginal products while using Monistat-1.
If you use topical products too often, your condition may become worse. SO sound like you should wait at least 3 days for sex after the Monistat 1 has dissolved any more questions call the doctor.
