Molluscum Contagiosum bumps are swelling under the skin. It hurts to the touch and is quite solid around the bump itself. I've been to the doctors and they have confirmed that it is MC.
These lumps will developed into raised lesions with pus in them over time. We had 3 kids with molluscum contagiosum over a period of 2 years. We tried lots of remedies. Our conclusions in summary: hygiene – wash hands, cloths, towels often; dont use soap bars! avoiding contact – no share baths; and cover bumps. – lotions – we tried them all! – best by far was apple cider vinegar and a lotion called Mollenol. Hope this helps others.
