Mobic is a NSAID (anti-inflammatory). It will help relieve the inflammation that is causing the pain. Just be very careful to take only the amount your doctor prescribed, no more, and for no longer than prescribed. Don't take other NSAIDs with it, such as Motrin and Aleve. All of this class of meds can cause digestive problems and bleeding. So be aware of your body while you are taking them.
