I've read so many post with people mentioning "soma", do they use this medication to mix with other opiates in order t increase the longevity of another medication, Example: morphine /soma mixed. Or is it used alone for pain control, or sleep?
Combining Soma with a pain medication can be very effective in breaking the pain/spasm cycle associated with muscle spasms. However, it should be done under the direct supervision of a medical professional who is familiar with all of your medical history. It is dangerous to "self medicate" with Soma and pain meds. Both can be very addictive in addition to creating increased sedation. When you combine Soma and pain meds you get a synergistic effect. That means that instead of being twice as sedated, you will be four or five times as sedated. Please consult your doctor with this if you have not already done so.
