"I have a friend" who is mixing 10 mg. percocet, 1 mg. xanax and 25 mg. hydroxyzine on a daily basis, everyday. What affect is this going to have on his body? It is obvious to everyone that something is wrong with him, except for him.
Interactions between your selected drugs
alprazolam ↔ oxycodone
Applies to: Xanax (alprazolam), Percocet (acetaminophen/oxycodone)
MONITOR: Central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effects, especially in elderly or debilitated patients.
MANAGEMENT: During concomitant use of these drugs, patients should be monitored for potentially excessive or prolonged CNS and respiratory depression. Ambulatory patients should be counseled to avoid hazardous activities requiring mental alertness and motor coordination until they know how these agents affect them, and to notify their physician if they experience excessive or prolonged CNS effects that interfere with their normal activities.
Other drugs that your selected drugs interact with
Percocet (acetaminophen/oxycodone) interacts with more than 300 other drugs.
Xanax (alprazolam) interacts with more than 300 other drugs.
Interactions between your selected drugs and food

GENERALLY AVOID: The pharmacologic activity of oral midazolam, triazolam, and alprazolam may be increased if taken after drinking grapefruit juice. The proposed mechanism is CYP450 3A4 enzyme inhibition.
MANAGEMENT: The manufacturer recommends that grapefruit juice should not be taken with oral midazolam. Patients taking triazolam or alprazolam should be monitored for excessive sedation. Alternatively, the patient could consume orange juice which does not interact with these drugs.
