If you miss three days, and start your new pack on the fourth day, is there anyway to take the pills as scheduled and keep your cycle on track? What are the chances of pregnancy?
No. If you have missed the first 3 pills of your new pack you will need to use the "7 day rule". You will need to use another method of contraception for 7 days while continuing to take your pills from day 4 onwards.
After you have taken the pills for 7 days you will be protected from pregnancy. It is likely that during this cycle you will experience some form of breakthrough bleeding or spotting.
If you have had sex during the time you had forgotten to take your tablets you should take a pregnancy test.
