way to get rid of scar tissue and adhesions. My insurance will not approve Lazer surgery. Please advise me what I should do. If I do cutting it will not help but only get worse. I am 71 years old with a disabled daughter and no family to help her. Please if anyone has a answer please let us know. Thank you in advance, Miss Saassy/Trisha.
A friend of mine had some surgery about 9 months ago for a variety of womens issues (PCOS and a Fallopian tube repair; she conceived within 3 months) and severe pain during sex (amongst an array of other things) from adhesions. Using just keyhole surgery the surgeon sliced gently away at the adhesions and then poured some magic goo into her abdominal cavity which is supposed to prevent reattachment at the adhesion points and now she is totally pain and discomfort free.
Just one thing however and that was the surgeon said the 'goo' was only successful in about 30% of patients. But I believe there are a few different products now (from memory, member chuck1957 may have more information on this. Sadly he is quite sick (never complains) and not around as often as he used to be).
