I've suffered with severe anxiety for just under 6 years now. I've been housebound since then and have yet to find something to help me. Tried many medications and therapies. I've been offered this new medication and just wanted to see what effects it has had on people.
aaron182; With all, you have been dealing with this is sure worth a try, It is used for several different things like what you are dealing with. And as you know sometimes it may take different things but this is a very good start to help relax you be it for sleep, Or for daily anxiety. Just make sure you follow the doctor's instructions. I do know what you're talking about I have suffered from the same type of problems for many years. Remember you also have to stay Positive, Try not to think negative or hang with negative people and trust in your faith no matter what it is. There is help and many medications that were not even out 6 years ago. so keep the chin up Aaron life is well worth it. And remember if you need to see another doctor as hard as it is. But if you feel you're not getting anywhere you have to try someone else. Don't let them take you for granted my friend. Have they also tried you on a SSRI, OR SNRI THOSE ARE A TYPE OF DRUG class yes it takes awhile for them to work and also you have to go off of them very slowly. But they sure made a big difference in a lot of people. Chuck1957 Aaron if you do not try and keep track of how you feel each day and what symptoms are the worse so you have something to tell the doctor. Use a pad and write down anxiety is a 5 today etc with a better record this can help a doctor. Kind of put a number by the total day on a scale of 1 to 10 and 1 being the best 10 the worst. and put that number next to the things that are bothering you the most. good luck you well be fine keep in touch with the doctor after you have taken this for a week or so.
