... the strings feel (if that makes sense). I can feel the strings, but it seems to be curled around my cervix. Just had it put in a week ago. Should I see a doctor?

Somehow it delete the first part of my question/details.
My doctor didn't show me how to check the strings inside of me, but only showed me how the strings felt (if that makes sense)
The string are supposed to be cut. Only about 3 cms is supposed to be left. The doc should have let you feel them right there, so you'd know how long they are. If they are wrapping around your cervix they either weren't cut right or its coming out. Either way I'd see my dr to check it.
My doctor curled them around my cervix so they wouldn't get pulled out... so yeah sounds like your fine.
