I have a mirena IUD that was inserted in 2013. I took Plan B 48 hours after I had sex a week ago. don't know why, probably just my nerves freaking me out. I know the IUD is 99% effective but will I still get my period like most women after plan B???
I have no idea because I've never known anyone who did that. You are protected by the iud. You have a 0.3% chance of pregnancy with the iud. That's next to nothing. You have no reason to ever take plan b. You don't ovulate. Plan b just delays ovulation. Its not magic. Its not extra protection. You don't need extra protection.
