I had my mirena inserted sept29th, and I haven’t stopped bleeding since. I get unbelievable cramps now, out of no where. I’ll feel fine and then all of a sudden it feels like someone stabbed a serrated blade into the area below my belly button. It’s always the right side that hurts a ton more. I was driving today when I randomly got the cramps and I had to pull over and wait until they passed because I would have crashed. Like they hurt so bad. I’m just wondering if that’s normal, and if it is, then how long until that passes because this isn’t worth it at this point. If it’s not normal what the heck do I do? Help me
Something does not sound quite right here. It should not be causing that much pain. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY!! Mirena can sometimes perforate the uterus and you can have an ectopic pregnancy while using mirena. I am not saying this is what is wrong, but you NEED to get to a DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY. Both are very dangerous. CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY or get to an URGENT CARE facility or an ER. I might add, I cannot stress the DO NOT WAIT part enough.
