I agree with kaismama about the antibiotics affecting your birth control. That said, I am sure you don't feel much like having sex right now anyway, but if your symptoms are not getting better but worse, you should call your doctor. these kind of cramps & pains are not unusual, but back pain indicates a kidney infection not just a bladder infection. Did they just give you a antibiotiic or did they do a culture to see which one would be more effective? A lot of doctors know what ones are effective for a simple bladder infection, but a culture should be done to make sure you are on the right one. To me it sounds like you need to see that doctor again, & be re-evaluated. Being it's Sunday you obviously can't go to the office today, but if it gets too bad you can always go to the ER. You could possibly even have a kidney stone that is trying to pass. Best to see a doctor on this ne. Best wishes to you..
