Some kinds of cognitive impairment show up at any age e.g I have visual indications on an MRI of progressive damage (obvious to people who know me) (and a microadenoma which should be 90% benign) at 48. Your level of impairment seems quite minor but the physical symptoms are cause to see a Doctor. When are you having an MRI? If you haven't seen your Doctor yet; do. You should at least get a referral to see a neurologist so he can run further tests or just refer you for an MRI and follow up.
