Hello, My wife is a patient of MIGRAINE past 10 years. She faces acute Headache almost all the times, but now, she is also facing an added problem of Blurred Vision which happens for few minutes and then goes back to normal. Please advice what can be done. Thanx and regards. Avneet.
I suffer from Migraines all the time also and recently I lost some of my vision, it turned out that I had Optic Neuritis in both eyes. The difference with me is that I had pain also in my eyes and once I got the blurred vision I didn't get it back. But I am sure you will be ok, but on the safe side I would go and see your optician ASAP so that he can rule out anything like this going on. Good luck I feel for you.
Sounds like your wife is having an aura before her migraine. I get these. You see blurry. If she looks at her hand she might see an area that is completely blurred. Then like you said after awhile it goes away. If she had migraine meds she should take it asap when she has this happen to her. Good luck!
It's nothing to worry about it is a clasic migraine. Get her to call her specialist just in case though.
I had migrains for a long time went to the hospital 2 to 3 times a week, an old country doctor told me migrains are caused by tention and gave me Toradol injections to use at home it is an anti inflamitory so it shrinks the swelling and the migrain goes away its wonderful I seldom have to use it now no more migrains. also there is a medicine over the counter called Excedrin Tension I take if I start to get a headache, It is wonderful works very well. Dont make the mistake of buying Excedrin Migrain it does not work.
