... Is it relevant or advisable to ask you GP ro allow you to have a scan to check its not a tumour. I have a work collegue whose daughter had bad headaches. had a scan and found it was caused by a tumour. I keep being told to get it checked out
If you are concerned then you should. I had a consultant and neurologist for migraines, but they haven't found a suitable 'treatment' in 13 years. I have had several scans though. A tumour is only one of many possible causes. If the migraines are frequent and bad you can arrange to see a consultant though your GP, but sometimes there is no obvious cause.
