I am on my second pack towards the end. I have taken them around the same time daily, but i am anemic and take iron pills. I usually get a very heavy period, with symptoms dizziness, cramps, bloating, headache. I have protected sex, but my question is: is it possible to get my period a week early, and it being extremely light, almost not even there without symptoms? Or is this not even my period? Last month my period was also shorter than usual, but it was there.
When you are on the pills, your period gets shorter and lighter. Its even possible to skip one once in a while. What you're having now is breakthrough bleeding. It isn't your period. You will get it on the sugar pills. Its not unusual for strange things to happen when your are getting used to the pill. and it can take about 6 months for that.
Keep track of your iron level. Your anemia may get cured because you won't have heavy periods with the pill.
