I have been on this pill for 7 months. It is my boyfriend & I's main form of birth control. I am normally very regular and start my period on the day of my second inactive pill. That was yesterday, and I have yet to start my period. I have had very few slight cramps. I took every single pill at EXACTLY the same time (9AM on the dot) and did not miss any. I did not take any new medications. I'm concerned about whether this is normal or not? Or if I should be be worried about pregnancy?
Don't even start worrying until you are done with the inactive pills. It can happen any time. You've been taking them correctly so you are 99% protected. When its time to start your next pack, do so whether or not you've had your period. It can skip a month now and then because one of the way it works is to decrease the amount of uterine lining, and this can lead to light to no periods once in a while.
I’ve been on this pill for almost 2 years now and have always had a period. I haven’t had a period for 6 months now. I asked my doctor in November during my annual checkup and he told me it’s common to not have a period on this pill. He made it seem like it wasn’t a big deal, but I haven’t had a period in 6 months. It’s starting to freak me out. I’ve taken several pregnancy tests to double check. I just don’t know what to do...
