ive been on microgestin for almost three weeks now, and i haven't missed a pill. the same day i started, i took plan b. i know that sometimes it messes up your hormones and screws up your period, but if i took plan b again two and a half weeks later will that mess it up even more? and how long does it take for this to work? aka do i have to use a condom for the first week..month?
Well it is important that you use extra protection for 7 days (7 active tablets) when you start taking the pill, but some doctors recommend you use extra protection for 1 month.
I just wanted to know why you took the 2nd lot of Plan B tablets when you didn't miss any pills? Please add answer as a comment if you wish.
Taking Plan B can alter your cycle. I would suggest you just keep on taking the pill as normal (Did you have a period already? Did that come in the 4th week... then I would say you are on the right track).
