... But I was wondering do I start taking the white ones when I do and also if I start with the white will I get my period again when I take the green ones? And also in a few months I'm going on vacation and thats when I'm supposed to have my period and I've heard if I don't take the green ones and keep taking the white it will make it not come is that true? Or what can I do to make sure I don't have it?
If the majority of Pills are white then they are the active Pills that you start with. The green ones are likely the "reminder" pills or inert pills and this is the week your period should come. When you first start taking the Pill, in the first few months, it is harder to predict your period. You may have unexpected "breakthrough" bleeding. You can try to skip your period the month of your vacation, if you wish. You do this by not taking the "reminder" pills and going straight to the next pack after the third week. This way you dont take the inert, non hormone pills that allow your period to come and you skip your period. You should really only do this a few times a year though.
