... on friday
Hi walkercarrie, So alcohol is contraindicated with this antibiotic while you're taking it and for 3 days after. So technically, according to those guidelines Friday would be accurate but I'd run it by your doctor or a pharmacist to make sure and to find out how long the medication stays in your system as the side effects from drinking are directly related to the medication and since it was a mega-dose I'd be curious how long it's active. Was there a reason you just did one dose all at once? I know you said it was per your doc's recommendation. Also I'd recommend not drinking much and none at all if you experience any of the unpleasant side effects such as fast heartbeats, warmth or redness under your skin, tingly feeling, nausea, and vomiting. Best regards!
