I have had upper back pain for 6 months and at times its so bad I can't even take it. I am on the 6 day 21 pill course and was wondering after I'm off it will my pain come back?
Hi Aunt Katie; There is really no way to tell without trying this medication, I am guessing the doctor checked for other reasons for this pain and did not find anything but this medication is a very strong cortisone and well take the inflammation out of the muscle or joints and with luck it well not come back but there is really no reason to tell until you take this medication just as prescribed on the packet and even if you get to feeling better take it until it is all gone. This is a strong medication and it may just do the job. But if by chance you are still having problems after you are done with this go back to the doctor and let him or her know that you are still having problems this is a very good start prior to getting shots. best of luck to you. Chuck1957 and hope you have a very Merry Christmas.
Aunt; In many cases, this well work as good as the shots of cortisone so hopefully it well not come back sense it is unknown how this pain started, but it does not take much inflammation to cause some pretty severe pain keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best. With, luck it well not come back.
