I'm to be given 2.5 ml. a week? Does insurance cover this?
Its up to your insurance but most cover it. Its about $70 a month.
Methotrexate (I write it as Mx), is as far as I know, the least expensive treatment for RA. In fact, with the new insurance practices, Mx must be tried first before insurance will pay for the big ticket items such as Enbrel. Are you taking pills?
You reference "ml" so is it in liquid form? I am not familiar with liquid treatment at all. But someone here must be.
In pill form it used to be on the Walmart 4.00 list, not sure if that is even a thing anymore but mine is 5.00 per month.
Hi. My methotrexate is in pill form and about $5 a month after insurance, and I take 6-2.5 mil. tabs a week. Sorry but I don't have any idea what liquid form costs if you inject liquid...
