I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2014 at the age of 29 when I ready to start having a baby. I am 5'6 and 135 lbs so even my doctor was shocked to find PCOS to be the issue with no real symptoms besides the random periods. At 17 I started my period but bled for 6 months straight then was put on birth control. Periods were few and far between after I stopped birth control when I was 20 and married. I did the ultra sounds and period jump starts for about 4 months then got the call that we were able to adopt so we stopped the process. Now, almost 32 and ready to try again Metformin was offered as a starter idea... What other things should I be taking or trying?? Thank you!
