I was taking 500 mg of metformin twice a day for 3 months. My numbers were good, so doctor took me off the meds. I wasn't able to keep up the diet and exercise I had in the first 3 months, so went back on the metformin. Now, I don't notice a change in my appetite and I am craving sweets and overeating. Why would there be a change in my side effects?
