How long has this been going on for?
Diarrhoea and upset tummy are common side effects of Metformin. Are you taking Metfomin with a meal - this will help? The diarrhoea may settle as your body adjusts to the Metformin. If it does not settle and becomes intolerable see your doctor. Metformin may not be right for you.
