I got diagnosed with type 2 back in like Nov. 2015....I believe I was about 250ish with other medical problems like bilateral PE's and a torn meniscus I couldn't get surgery for which brought me up over 200 lbs to begin with but I was able to stay around that weight...UNTIL it seems metformin came into my life... I'm currently at 342 lbs and my daily dose is 1000mg x 2 daily along with glipizide also... I feel bloated & hungry at weird times... it's caused more problems like intense anxiety & depression which I've already spent too much time of my life fighting...
I'd complained each time I saw my primary care provider, I mean 'heck' he saw my weight climbing and my constant requests to be in touch with a dietitian or nutritionist or ANYone who could help me, not to mention I had started back in Dec 2015 going to the gym at least 2 times a wk...
My hubby moved me clear across the country to NY hoping to get better medical care & doctors! I'm at my wits end and living at times brings me literally no joy or hope... I hate being sad about this...
My question WAS (sorry it didn't post up b4)
Is this weight Gain situation More common than I've read about? All I see is it's suppose to be weight Loss... for me it's not anything close to that! Has anyone with similar situations had better results with another type of medication(s)????
