Metformin is a medicine often prescribed for patients with Type 2 diabetes. You will have to watch your diet carefully and exercise regularly to lose weight.
Some patients experience weight loss while taking metformin - but not all. You will need to work at it - good luck.
Hi, a lot of people have had good success with weight loss with the help of metformin. Like suzanne said, you will still need to work at it, but it can be very effective. I've added a link so you can check out info about metformin being used in diabetes and helping with weight loss. I hope you find it effective
Sorry I going to have to be blunt, if your taking metformin for weight control get off it! Get a trainer, dietician and put together an all unprocessed food diet and juicing, Quit supporting the big pharm $$$$$$ which are only making you sick, take control over your OWN health!
